By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including the Acceptable Use Policy below, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our service.

Nano Banana is Google's name for a Gemini image model. The API identifiers above are provider routing names rather than guarantees of a particular model version. The upscaling label does not independently identify its underlying model architecture or version. Your prompts and images are sent to the applicable AI processing provider to perform the operation you request, as described in our Privacy Policy. Model availability, processing time, and results may depend on these third-party services. We will update this disclosure when the models used by our tools change.

Image Editor AI is an independent service. References to Google, Gemini, Nano Banana, or other third-party names identify the technology used and do not imply that we are an official application, partner, or endorsed service of those providers. Images produced or modified by these tools are AI-generated or AI-edited content.

Acceptable Use Policy and Prohibited Activities

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to text prompts, uploaded images, generated or edited images, upscaled images, and content stored, shared, or distributed through Image Editor AI. It applies to all users and all access methods, including direct API requests. Private use, a paid plan, or an attempt described as fictional does not exempt prohibited content from these standards.

Content Standards and Prohibited Categories

You must not use the service to request, upload, generate, edit, upscale, publish, or distribute any of the following six categories of content:

  1. Pornography / NSFW: Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexual exploitation content, including explicit sexual acts and non-consensual intimate imagery. The service does not permit adult-content generation.
  2. Violence / Gore: Graphic violence, gore, mutilation, torture, or content that promotes, glorifies, threatens, or instructs others to commit violence, terrorism, or serious physical harm.
  3. Hate Speech: Content that attacks, dehumanizes, discriminates against, or incites hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.
  4. Child Unsafe Content / CSAM: Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual exploitation or sexualization of a minor, grooming, or content that endangers children. This is a zero-tolerance category and includes synthetic, AI-generated, fictional, and edited depictions, as well as requests to make a real or apparent minor appear sexualized.
  5. Deepfakes / Impersonation: Deepfakes or other deceptive content impersonating a real person, brand, or organization; content misrepresenting identity, consent, endorsement, or authenticity; and non-consensual manipulation of a person's likeness, particularly intimate or sexual depictions.
  6. Copyright / Trademark Infringement: Content that violates another party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, including unauthorized reproduction of protected material and misleading use of logos or branding. You must have the rights or permissions required for the images and other material you submit.

Other illegal content, fraud, harassment, privacy violations, terrorist recruitment, and instructions for making weapons of mass destruction are also prohibited. You must not present AI-generated content as authentic evidence or use it to deceive others about its origin.

Content Moderation and Review Process

Our model calls use automated content safety screening provided by the AI model services. This screening covers both inputs (text prompts and uploaded images) and outputs (generated or edited images). Inputs identified as illegal or prohibited are blocked from processing, and outputs identified as illegal or prohibited are withheld from display or distribution. We supplement these model-provider safeguards with human review of content safety reports and appeals.

A model's ability to produce an image does not make that image permissible. All inputs and outputs remain subject to the six prohibited categories above, and a user's review of a result does not replace the platform's content safety responsibilities.

The following process governs reports, appeals of model-provider safety blocks, and suspected violations requiring human review:

  1. Intake and initial assessment: Record the report or safety signal, identify the relevant request or content reference, and classify it against the six prohibited categories. Child safety, credible threats, exploitation, and other serious risks receive priority.
  2. Protective action: Reject a flagged request or restrict access to suspected prohibited content while it is reviewed. Content must not be restored or released merely by retrying a blocked request or changing providers.
  3. Human review: The Image Editor AI support team reviews the information necessary to assess the case, including the report, relevant request details, available provider safety information, and the user's explanation. Review is limited to the safety issue and follows the data protections in our Privacy Policy. Additional information may be requested when the evidence is incomplete.
  4. Decision and enforcement: Determine whether a violation occurred, its severity, and whether it is repeated. Apply the measures below and record the reason for the decision.
  5. Notification and follow-up: Inform the reporter and affected user of the outcome where contact details are available and disclosure is lawful. Avoid disclosing private account information or information that could compromise a safety investigation. Consider appeals and use confirmed incidents to improve content rules and review procedures.

Automated safety blocks remain in place unless a review determines that the block was mistaken. Users may request human review through the appeal channel below. Attempts to bypass the safeguards are separate violations. Reports and appeals are assessed against the same standards; a report alone does not establish that a violation occurred.

User Reporting Channel

Anyone may report prohibited content, child safety concerns, impersonation, or intellectual property infringement by emailing support@imageeditorai.org. Use the subject Content Safety Report, or Urgent Child Safety Report for a child safety concern. You do not need an account to submit a report.

Please include the content URL or task reference if available, the suspected category, a short explanation, and an email address for a reply. For a rights complaint, also identify the protected work or trademark and your relationship to the rights holder. Do not attach, download, or redistribute suspected CSAM or other illegal material; provide a reference and description instead. If a person faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service or authority.

Our support team handles reports. We aim to acknowledge them within our usual 24–48-hour support response window, prioritize serious safety concerns, and provide an outcome or progress update after review. Complex cases may take longer. Reporter information is used for investigation and follow-up and is not disclosed to the reported user unless required by law or necessary to resolve a rights claim.

Violation Handling

Depending on the severity and circumstances, we may reject a request, withhold or remove content, issue a warning, require corrective action, restrict service access, or suspend or terminate an account. Repeated violations, intentional circumvention, and serious exploitation may result in permanent termination. Child sexual abuse material and other severe illegal content receive zero-tolerance treatment: access is restricted on identification, with escalation to the appropriate authorities where required by law. Information required for a lawful investigation is handled under our Privacy Policy.

Appeals

If you believe a request was incorrectly blocked or an enforcement decision was mistaken, email support@imageeditorai.org with the subject Content Safety Appeal, the relevant task or decision reference, and your explanation. We will reconsider the decision and communicate the outcome. An appeal does not authorize re-uploading prohibited content or bypassing restrictions while review is pending.
